Following the first Sailfish user group meeting in Munich the participants agreed to meet again in more or less regular intervals. As the comments at SUG - Sailfish user groups have become less usable we discussed to have an individual TJC-Thread for the user group meetings in Munich.

We suggest to have one answer with comments for each meeting. This will hopefully keep a structure that makes it easy to follow. Also click "follow" on the right to get notifications for changes in this thread.

Next Meeting - 2016-01-25

As aggreed on the last meeting we plan the next event in Giesing next to Kulturzentrum (Alter Bahnhof).

According to the availibilities in the Doodlesurvey: http://doodle.com/poll/bi9dmbnmqamewk6t we came to the conclusion that 25.01.2016 is the best date.

Excellent, I love it if we get exactly ONE date when EVERYONE can participate. I'll call the place and reserve a table for 8 people, just in case there will be someone else to join.

After two months since our last meeting in Munich it's time to schedule a new get together. We may also have a look at the tablet and a Fairphone running Sailfish.

On the mailing list of the SailfishOS Users Munich we discussed to plan the next meetup in Munich in November. So we set-up a Doodle survey to find the best time. Please enter your availability at this address.

As usual we plan to meet at Gleiswirtschaft, Giesingier Bahnhof.

Nice! I will propably work at electronica from 08-10. On monday 7th i will gladly join a bit tired after some hours ride from Ddorf and setting up the tradefair booth :D

damn, damn, damn. i have a situation at the tradefair and have to stay until 22:00 :( officials closed down the place for seurity concerns, reopend now but i am late as f*. i hope you have a good time. would have been my first SUG. meet me next elektronica fair days at A3-241 kyocera booth for some yummi sushi.

On our mailinglist of SailfishOS users in Munich we discussed to meet again in a few weeks to test out the new release of SailfishOS and also some new hardware such as the Gemini PDA and hopefully some Xperia XA2 (Plus/Ultra).

There's a survey where you can add the days when you have time to join.

My Xperia X seems to have some hardware issues. So it is very probable I bring a brand new XA2.

Usually we do speak German as there were only German speaking people there until now. But I am sure most attendees are willing to speak English if we have a foreign guest.

In July we met in Restaurant Tattenbach which is nice but rather noisy. I'm sure we'll find another place that is as nice but less noisy

This is great news. I'm so eager to join next time. No matter where. Yea, Tattenbach is indeed a noisy place. I picked it mostly because it's central and fits different tastes. Now that you know each other you probably will find something more fitting. Looking forward to october....

I'm not form Munich but may you can do something like this just as inspiration. http://blognburger.de/ I believe there a good places to meet in Munich and enjoy foot or Beer :P. In Berlin we meet in a hackerspace btw.

Maybe use an open air location? We have a lot of parks and the Isar. I'm thinking about a motto like smart-grilling. Restaurant Tattenbach looks to narrow-minded for my taste anyway.

Well, october in munich is not too warm. Do you know the Bar Vivo? It has some openair tables when it's warm. And it's definitely not "narrow-minded".
