Bluetooth audio issue starting with 1.1.7.28 [not relevant]

Starting with 1.1.7.28 (or the in between .27?) bluetooth audio playback on my car (Peugeot 308t9) radio stopped working. Controlling audio (CuteSpot in this case) still works. This issue was not present with 1.1.7.24.
Playback on a different device, the Nokia 360 speaker, still works.
Anyone else having bluetooth audio issues with the latest Björnträsket release? Any suggestions for a workaround?
