UI Bugs: Phone App issue [1.1.1.27] / Icon over Icon in App Launcher / Fading Out Effect
Today I experienced something weird after looking into my notifications (had a missed call) and trying to call back.
Here you go:
- Home Screen window not showing the call names
- Phone app also not showing the call names and not responding at all
- End of the call list (still no names and not any longer transparent) Partially the whole phone/OS didn't respond, especially the lockscreen and not just the phone app - but I couldn't take a screenshot of the lockscreen. I was happy that I could go back to the multitasking screen and turn off/restart the phone. Did some of you experienced something similar?
EDIT: Just had something weird, have a look on this screenshot...
EDIT2: I just noticed that the new and in 1.0.4.20 implemented "fading out" effect doesn't work with the Phone App. You can reproduce it easily by pulling until the Pulley Menu option screen locks (and a bit more). In all the other apps (Messaging, Notes, Settings, Events-View, end of App-Launcher, etc.) it works just fine.
Still present in 1.0.5.16!!
The fading out issue is still present in 1.0.7.16!!
For this issue maybe it's better to vote here in the separated thread: https://together.jolla.com/question/37754/pulley-menu-fading-doesnt-always-work/
EDIT3: This particular fading out issue has been fixed/released.
But with 1.1.1.26/27 the Phone App issue is back again - it's similar like on the first screenshot - either the cover screen is not adjusted to the cover, but showing just the copy of the whole app screen (like the N9 did) or the cover is completely black on the homescreen. Only solution: phone restart.
Just realised: same issue like described above is with the native Messaging App.
Cheers.
Not the same thing but once I received a call and could do nothing : neither reject neither take the call.
smartiz ( 2014-01-06 09:00:25 +0200 )editHad that too @smartiz, a couple of times already.
BonoNL ( 2014-01-06 09:19:41 +0200 )editI had some similar behaviours, try this app, it is not a solution but at least it helps: https://openrepos.net/content/schturman/homescreen-refresher
damourti ( 2014-03-14 01:13:04 +0200 )editI also had that issue once, where to icons were on top of each other. Though I could manually move the upper one to its original place, so quite minor inconvenience, but of course should be fixed to achieve non-beta quality.
matrixx ( 2014-03-14 10:33:21 +0200 )editthe icon-on-top-of-another-icon is rather easily repeatable (thanks to tompso) you move one diagonally e.g. one-up-two-right and with little practice you have them stacked.
(The game here is to get more pairs)
