Installing Threema prevents contact access from other android apps

The initial situation was as follows: K-9 installed, access my Sailfish contact list without problems.

I have then installed Threema, and noticed that it would not sync with my contact list, i.e. I would only see the “Echo Test” entry in the Threema contact list. I tried a few times to make it sync the list by dis- and enabling contact list syncing in Threema, but it did not help.

Eventually, I happened to open K-9 again, and found that it would not know about my Jolla contacts any more, but it would list the “Echo Test” contact, and only that. The regular contact list is still intact.

So I conclude that Threema somehow messed up the connection between Sailfish and Android here.

Does anyone recognize the problem, or otherwise know of a work-around or fix?
