[1.1.9.28] Media player is activated/controlled accidently
I like the possibility to control the media player from the lock screen without the need to enter my code but it happens very often that the controls are activated unintendedly while walking with the phone in my pocket.
If the powerbutton gets a little pressure while walking the display gets activated and the music get paused, a song gets skipped or something like that.
More annoying is that it happened that the media player got unpaused while I was in company. So there should be an action to prevent unwanted activation of the media player controls. I don't want that it's necessessary to enter my code but I can imagine putting the controls into a pulley menu.
This is a really annoying behaviour that came with SFOS2 early release.
sounds like an issue with your prox sensor more like it.

chemist ( 2015-09-17 12:45:01 +0200 )editI guess that the powerbutton is pressed because otherwise the display should remain turned off and it would not be possible to activate the media player buttons. What else could lead to this?

Touchscreen should be inactive with prox sensor covered even when power button is pressed. unless you are managing to triple-tap the power button...

Finger on upper right corner + double tap on screen -> screen remains off
Finger off upper right corner + double tap on screen -> screen turns on
Finger on upper right corner + single tap on power button -> screen turns on (showing the media control buttons ;))
Did not now triple tap on power button. But this brings me to home screen. One tap brings me to lock screen with the media player buttons, too.
