Check update waiting for connection

Hello everyone,

I've got an issue that I described in this topic : https://together.jolla.com/question/109759/android-apps-dont-load-after-update/ As it's two different issues, I create this new topic in order to resolve the update issue. As I was saying in the other topic, the update notification is still present after my last update to 1.1.7.28. But the check upadate system seems to not work also. When I go System > Update, and check updates, I only got the message "Waiting connection" (or something like this, my jolla is not in english). As sailfish OS2 is now out, I tried one more time to check for updates, but my jolla can't find nothing.

I tried twice the solution gave here ( https://together.jolla.com/question/5184/system-update-notifications-keep-re-appearing-although-update-already-installed/?sort=votes&page=1#post-id-5500 ) but it didn't worked.

Is there any other solution that can resolve my issue ?

Best regards

As suggested by Jolla from their zendesk help pages; section 2.1 https://jolla.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/205601317

Make sure your device is connected to the internet, attach a charger. You already have develope mode activated;

Open Terminal and type in;

ssu release 1.1.9.28 (enter)

version --dup (enter)

when the process is done, restart the device using the power button. When the device restarts, see the Sailfish version in Settings/System/About product.

Cool, glad you got sorted @Pioufy. :)

Welcome to TJC - Just a few tips on Answers and Comments. No need to post "Answers" to essentially just leave a comment, instead, leave your comment in a comment box under the actual answer, of course a thanks is always welcome! - thank you for thanking me! :)

If you need to 'bump' your thread, simply click edit, make a change, then undo that change and save your edit, this puts your thread back at the top of the Unanswered questions list and saves adding Answers that are not answers at all - a kind of forum house-keeping if you like. So please feel free to remove both of your non-answers above this comment ;)
