Lock phone immediately by a swipe from top if there is no favorite ambience defined in UI 2.0

It should lock the device immediately if there is no ambience marked as favorite and not just show the lock button.

you do realize that the bottom swipe brings up the app launcher?

You are right, i didn't realized that because this behaviour is also a bit strange in my opinion. I changed my suggestion and would be also very satisfied if it would lock the screen if i have no favorite defined...

I think this is a good idea, however we need another shortcut for silencing then

Locking device should also be possible from everywhere outside an app like pre UI 2.0 by swipe from top eg in application layer.
