This bluetooth speaker used to work, but after 1.1.9.28 update, I don't get any sound out of the speaker anymore. It connects normally and everything else seems to be fine, but no sound.

I checked with Android phone that the speaker works. I don't know what has changed and how to debug this. Any help would be appreciated.

I cannot confirm this. I've a Soundlink Mini and music plays over bluetooth from it just as before.

Try to reset the bluetooth connections list of your speaker and remove the power supply for some time to reset the electronics, maybe it's just a fault of your speaker. If this does not work you could try to delete the bluetooth coupling in your Jolla and try it again. :)

I have reset the pairing from phone and from speaker, no luck. I've turned the speaker on/off etc. The battery in the speaker is not removable, so one option still might be to let it just run empty.

It is strange that the speaker works with normal android phone.

Thanks for comments :)

Similar problem here with a headset by Sony (SBH-50): After the upgrade to 1.1.9.28 I can no longer listen to music. Only a slight change of the sound happens when I start playback, as if the connection was ready but no sound was being played.

In phonecalls listening and speaking works, though.

I tried reconnecting, re-pairing, rebooting, to no avail.

Edit: I managed to get music out of the headset by connecting it as secondary device "behind" a computer. I guess this forces the HFP/HSP-profile to be used (the sound quality is worse). So the problem might be related to the A2DP profile.

Ok I got it working eventually by just closing/reconnecting. I don't know what made the difference, but thanks for answers and help here anyway :)
