Engadget Tablet review: what's the point?
Seriously... that's one less tablet they could have sent to a paying customer. There's really no point sending out review units since no one can buy the tablet now. Also, sending it out later will allow a lot of the rough edges to be solved by software updates .

Interesting review, but they kinda missed the biggest selling point of the thing is that its a linux tablet.

pmelas ( 2015-10-16 00:55:03 +0200 )editSo with all the delayes and with the tablet being shipped in ridiculously small batches do you really think that there is a chance that any kind of publicity is "good"?
michel ( 2015-10-16 01:35:55 +0200 )editI don't see anything wrong with the review, it's pretty honest and straightforward, not everyone buys into niche products, which like the phone, is all it is. I wouldn't buy one, and the reasons stated in the article are what the general public would conclude, they don't want to have to jump through hoops, that's why they'll buy an android tab or an icrap, nothing to get butthurt about here, it tells it as it is. Jolla need to work on the OS and apps, not f about with hardware when they can't make their minds up whether or not they're going to support it down the line, the general public will not wait for a product, and they won't buy this.
