Hmm some kind sport tracker would be interesting add to Maps. Like "Follow me" option that records your route until you close it or you have stayed still long enough. Just an idea.

Android apps like Endomondo, Runtastic,Runkeeper and Sports-Tracker seems to work, at least some parts of the program. Sports-Tracker app syncs with ST-servers but doesn't download maps and you can't pair your HRM, probably a bluethooth-dalvik-ST issue. A native sailfish app is still on the wishlist but at least ST team have said that they won't support sailfish at the moment.

Since I already have long running history in their database, I recently asked from Sports Tracker support about their plans on native Jolla version, and they seems to be in 'wait and see' mode until Jolla gets into masses.

edgar ( 2014-01-27 11:19:46 +0300 )editOne can install Sports Tracker using some apk downloader, but it doesn't show the map, and heart rate monitor can't be used. Those make it almost not useful, and Sports Tracker is one of the reasons I still cling on to my Old Faithful N9 without a SIM card...
