As some of you might know, Simo has put ReviewJolla on ice and many other blogs are pretty passive (no offence).

So, my idea is to make a blog with several members of the community making and moderating it. That way it could have more regular content than blogs ran by one person.

So, who's with me?

(you can also contact me via email, adress can be found from my GitHub profile)

Okay, I made a GitHub organizationfor us, come and join in on the fun! Also, the site's address is cool: https://jollacommunity.github.io/blog We will use Jekyll :)

Current status
The name shall be "Jolla Community Blog" and we shall use GitHub pages&Jekyll. Unfortunately I can't set up Jekyll right now as Ubuntu 15.10 upgrade killed my Linux laptop. If someone else can, email me and/or create a pull request @ GitHub.
edit
I added some Slush news for fun.

@malibu1106 Well, I can try to keep readers up with the updates, because I read the changelogs anyway. I could also write about my (slow) learning of app development.

I'd love to read about app development. The really isn't much about development. Tutorials are missing. :/

Here's a poll: What would you like to read about? http://vote.pollcode.com/48262319

I suggest Github pages, it's free and performant; also Jekyll is really flexible and easy, for blogs too.

@tokaru Actually that would be perfect! Anyone could leave pull requests and moderators could accept them. Edit: added the 2 to the poll.

I am starting to regret selecting strawpoll, you can't edit existing polls :( Edit: Switched to another poll system :)

Actually, gh-pages comes with Jekyll out-of-the-box. One does not have to use it, but I'd highly recommend it, it's awesome.

I'll have to take a further look at Jekyll, but it does seem great. @tokaru I hope your github username is tokaru, I just invited you :)

alternatively, we could make better use of the Devaamo.fi blog aggregator: http://planet.devaamo.fi/sailfish/ for any new sailfishos blogs, although i think this is more app and development related.

@tbr can add additional blogs

yes, I'm open to add more blogs to that, as long as they cover mainly development. Personally I've been quite long already inactive, but react when poked.
