Thanks for great phone!

Is it possible to make android support smoother and faster? I mean the feeling when using UI. Nowdays android apps runs laggish and don't response too well to touches. Feels like android apps always comes few ms behind, and at the same time native apps responses to touches instantly.

Hm, mine does not feel laggish. It feels as good as with my Galaxy S3. Do you have many apps running?

Dual core CPU with 512MB RAM, I figure tihis isn't exactly a high end configuration for Android 4.1.2. Depending on the application , you may want to eliminate all background processes when running demanding software on 512MB RAM phones. One serious active background process is Sailfish OS ;)

Jolla has 1GB Ram or is Alien somehow limited to 512mb?

Good to know that not everybody feels this way. I think it maybe problem on interface between jolla - android emulator. But if all doesn't suffer this, it could be problem on my phone. Because on my handset difference between native and android app is really BIG.

Hardwarecomparison with Android phones is quite meaningless as DalvikVM in Android eats a lot of processor power whilst I have no Idea, how demanding the virtualization in Jolla is. On my Jolla at least all Android Apps from Twitter thru Snapseed to Gaming run smoother than on my exAndroid.

It's been noticed something isn't exactly right with the way the frames from Android arrive in our compositor causing a lot of GPU usage/latency. We're looking into it.
