Stella TOH problem after update [answered]

I have a wonderful Jolla Stella Angry Birds edition. After updating the early access update to 2.0.1.7. my TOH works not at all. I mean by swiping to the left the angry birds movies and toons movies are gone. This is very annoying. i rebooted the device and release and put on the TOH but nothing helps. Can i reinstall the stella ambience via Terminal? Thank you bye.

Edit: affects also the released version 2.0.1.11.

EDIT: bug reappeared in 2.1.0.9 and 2.1.0.10. ToonsTV remains empty after doing the suggested reinstalls EDIT. Problem is still present in 3.0.0.5.

Hi, @charlyheinze - yes, you can reinstall from terminal, pkcon install ambience-stella

If it were me, I would remove ambience-stella first then attach TOH and see if it installs.

If required, you can remove stella, using pkcon remove ambience-stella

Thanks for reporting this. We had forgot to update the Stella ambience package in the store repository and now noticed couple of issues with it. We'll try to get those fixed and the package updated as soon as possible.

@Keto i have seen that after several updates pkcon install ambience-stella isnt working anymore it seems that the files not there the jolla1 from my wife is on latest ea 2.1.1.24. The toons.tv. page appears but it freezing.

Hello Sailors, i have the same issue after update to 2.1.0.9. ToonsTV remains empty, when i swipe to the left. Uninstall und install of ambience-stella via terminal and TOH didn't solve the problem. Any idea?

Now as 2.0.1.11 Taalojärvi has been officially released, just open Jolla store and remove the Angry Birds Stella Ambience and then (possibly reboot first) reinstall it by physically removing TOH and replacing it to your phone.

The ToonsTV comes back and also the graphics get a fresh look.

Hello again i have fixed it. Going into terminal and logged in as root. Doing pkcon refresh and then i installed stella ambience via pkcon install ambience-stella

This probably works but the package does not have the correct dependencies so there might be some unexpected issues.
