Hi,

I have a problem with my Jolla and my Simens Gigaset DX600A.

When I pair my Gigaset with my Jolla via Bluetooth and get a incoming call my Gigaset and the connected DECT phones are ringing, but I can not answer the the call, it is not working.

When I call out with my Gigaset through Jolla I can here the other site but they can not here me. If I shout in the mic on the other site you will just receive a low volume noise which I can not describe with words.

I never had such issue with my N9 and I love this feature and need it. I do not like to run through the house and search my phone or take it all the time with me (I have 3 level + cellar).

The Bluetooth profile which my jolla chose for my Gigaset is mobile device I also switched the profiles but I am not able to get it working.

Edit: After many updates I tried it again because I do really miss this feature... The first problem with picking up the call is solved and its working fine. But I do still have the second problem:

Yes, I am using the Gigaset DL500A, and I have the same Problem. I think jolla has to add several bt-profiles!

I attemted a similar setup using Asterisk and chan_mobile. It's much easier (=possible at all) to debug the stuff.

I got a DECT Gigaset C470IP registered at my Asterisk, configured 2 bluetooth adapters (one for my Jolla, the other for my wife's Samsung Galaxy Young). As this setup was working previously for my Nokia E51 and her Nokia 5130, I expected the same.

Unfortunately, calling my Jolla resulted in one-way communication, a little bit resembling your attempts, Badevil.

I will be attempting to further investigate the issue, whoever's interested, the attached files contain my asterisk config and the debugging output from calling to my Jolla and to my wife's Samsung.

BTW: Samsung didn't even get one-way communication, no audio both ways, so with Jolla I'm half-way done, at least. And the issue seems pretty common according to https://issues.asterisk.org/jira/browse/ASTERISK-8668

UPDATE: Sorry, it seems I cant upload the config and debug due to low karma. I can send that over email if anyone's interested.

Hej. Bluetooth suffers of some smaller bugs that may affect your problem as well (BT profile not always chosen correctly, flaws when re-connected when phone sleeping, needs sometimes several attempts for pairing).
