[problem] battery charging: switches off and on every few minutes

Hello,

My Jolla phone battery must have run out overnight. (quite oddly, because I charged it yesterday and that's normally good for 3/4 days)

When I try to charge it again, the phone seems to switch off and on every few minutes by itself. I can't seem to control it by the power button, and I'm also not able to start it up.

What could be the cause and is there a solution?

Up until now, I've been quite happy with the phone and never really experienced any significant trouble.

Regards.

Okay, the problem is solved by taking out the battery, waiting an hour and then putting it back and charge. Everything seems to work fine again.

But it was acting very weird and it seems to have been an OS problem, so I'd like to report this as a bug.

Same, solved after disconnecting the battery, my intuition is telling me it's software related.
