I managed to get a hold of a few Jolla phones after selling the ones I had to spare before. I was looking through retailers looking for one to get a backup for myself, but I happened to get 3 from a retailer friend of mine who happened to have them in stock. So I again can distribute a few of them to people who really want and need them. Trying to spread the Jolla community. Phones are brand new and in unopened box. I sold 4 to people on this forum already and everyone has received their phone without delays. If you are interested, write me at anttikangro [at] gmail (dot) com . And We can figure out how you can get your phone :) I am not doing this for profit, but only to help people in need and help spread the Jolla love as I am a very satisfied user myself. And as the phones are out of stock everywhere, I feel the need to help.

Why don't you try and get an Aqua Fish?

Aren’t they illegal in Europe (missing certification) and, if you smuggle them, in, still don’t work properly due to missing 4G bands? I’m also slowly starting to look around for a new phone and getting quite frustrated. I’d even pay the much higher price for inferior hardware again, if it just was current inferior hardware and not 2012’s inferior hardware…

The dissapointing answer is "you cant buy it". In fact as far as I know you cant buy any Sailfish OS device, unless you live in India.

Well its been nice being Jolla user, but at the monent it looks to me like jolla has zero intrest for european market. Aparantly when my phone breaks for good I must go back to being android user because there are no Jolla devices to buy, and my limit for price to pay for any phone is 300€ so there are no alternatives for me at the monet. I have zero intrest in phones with 3rd party apps that cant be removed and I'm not going to buy a phone from other side of the world whit zero support.

@mattl and to add insult to injury Jolla are putting out the Intex device as a 'thank you' with 14 days to return it and no warranty of any sort after that, just a bleet from HQ that they'd 'do their best' to 'help', so not only do you get less than when you bought your original device you're meant to be thankful for it too. So technically, you'd be better off buying one direct from snapdeal or wherever in India, cos at least they'd give you a f warranty! As I see it, until they get native, decent app's on the phone or the ability to buy decent app's, people won't be arsed to develop cos they're getting no income from it, so there is no incentive, and without those decent, core app's, so we don't have to use Androids shie to get a workking set of common app's, the OS won't progress, and manufacturers won't adopt it, so unless they get the basics down first to sort this self fulfilling prophecy out, you're stuck with no decent phone, and I'm stuck with a phone I've got to hope lasts, despite having returned it 4 or 5 times. Personally I don't fancy your, or my chances and at this rate even windows mobile will start to look like the viable alternative . . . . . . .

If you are in Europe, the only problem is that the phone does not have proper technical certifications. So you might run into discussions with customs, maybe denying permission for import.

Depending on the location you live in there should be the option to buy online. What country you live in? IMHO there are no shops or so. Or you get a used one.

My Jolla tells me about buying online for 199 Euro. The website tells me "Out of stock".

Perhaps the correct answer is: You have to buy it used.

Or you watch out for the "Intex Aqua Fish". Seems to be the Jolla from a different continent. I would appreciate if they are able to provide spare parts like the akku-battery. Just to mention something off topic ...

I wanted to buy Jolla recently too, but I have ended up with a new Nokia N9 at the end, because there was no Jolla anywhere..

I have a "new" Jolla phone. I bought one extra phone just in case. Box is opened and phone has turned on couple of times. Battery is new and unused. And I would sell it if somebody wanted to buy it. Phone is located in Finland.

Olli

@Jolla: I´m also confused that the Phone is sold out, but no alternative advised on the webpage. Bought a Jolla-Phone recently, and now ... as friends of mine intend to also buy a Jolla-Phone... , they've got no chance to by one from an official store. - It´s a pitty, the more as this decreases their trust in Jolla and their "ability to deliver". - As they don´t know how long to wait and whatfor, they start buying Android- and i-Phones again. :/ - Will there be an official channel in the near future which will offer Jolla-Phones in / to Europe? - Many thanks for your feedback. - Sorry, think I put my comment in on the wrong level. - Was meant to be a comment to the inital request.
