I'm using 2.0.1.11, and all my events are correctly synched to my Google Calendar and from my Google Calendar. The problem, for now, is that Google account always asks to re-enter credentials so often..
palikao ( 2016-06-01 17:51:16 +0300 )with me, Jolla entered events normally make it to Google calendar, but not all of them, today.
danfin ( 2016-06-01 18:15:47 +0300 )If you can provide logs of the synchronisation in which some events failed to sync correctly, I can investigate further.
To get those logs, do:
1) edit /etc/systemd/journald.conf and set RateLimitBurst=5000 and RateLimitInterval=5s then reboot if you had to change those values.
2) ssh into the device and do:
3) leave that ssh terminal open, and then open a new one, in which do:
4) trigger a sync via Settings->Accounts->Long-press Google->Sync.
Wait a couple of minutes then the second (journalctl) terminal should contain a lot of debug logs. Redact any personal information from them, and send the result to chris dot adams at jolla dot com.
Thanks!
chris.adams ( 2016-06-06 05:13:01 +0300 )hi, Chris. Sorry I am a bit limited.. I don't know how to 'ssh into' my device. I use a Mac and I have Linux on a emulator, but I am no crack at all. Can I do that fro terminal aswell? (Typing is a pain on the device)
danfin ( 2016-06-06 13:28:54 +0300 )ok I can open two terminal windows.. however the 2nd window does not seem to gather any news. (two minute wait) I'll try again now.
