I am trying to usb/boot Ubuntu Gnome 16.04 on Jolla Tablet (32Bit)

It looks like it works, then the screen goes blank.

When I tap the power button, the Ubuntu GUI flashes (The GUI where you can select to try out or install Ubuntu) and then power to keyboard is lost and screen goes dark again.

Is there some kind of power management that turns off my display? Has anyone an Idea how to successfully boot up an Ubuntu 16.04?

Just don't. And if you do, don't ask here. Just buy a generic Chinese tablet and run Ubuntu on it.

renegade22: gimme the tablet, if you don't like it. Feel free to contact me. So my LastUCase will have a job, finally.

@Moo-Crumpus Oh, I don't give my tablet away. I really like it. But nothing tells me, that I can not play with it and try to also use it like a computer. Nobody was talking about replacing SailfishOS. And no, @Valker I don't want to buy another tablet to just for playing with it. That would be like I would buy a pc for each monitor I have and a pc for each operating system, because we don't want to just share resources.
