Where to buy a Sailfish OS device? [duplicate]
Perhaps I'm too old for these kind of things. Also I'm not a Sailor since I haven't got any Sailfish OS device, but I'd like to.
When looking for a new device, I'm used to walk into a store to a have a look at and grab the device to get a feeling of it. When it comes to Sailfish OS devices you're supposed to order it from a country far away, taking quite a few considerations into account.
To put it short, where do I turn to buy a Sailfish OS smart phone when living in northern Europe?
Good Evening :)
I don't think there are any retailers you can walk into and have a hands on with an officially supported SFOS device right now. I might be wrong of course!
MoritzJT ( 2016-07-20 23:27:15 +0200 )editThey are on eBay selling from India to worldwide with some exclusions.
The phones are retailing at £135. Compare that to the latest cut of high fashion phone in a corporate store and you are looking at £400 to £600 perhaps. ........is £135 so much of a gamble to buy into something that is largely unknown?, if you don;t like it, put it back on eBay and get most of your money back, from all the other people who will just throw their money at it because it is something new. Take the plunge
