I have a 64Kbit radio aac-stream which plays for half a second right and then plays veeeery slow. This stream works fine with the Jolla1/2.0.1.11 (additional installation on both devices: gstreamer1.0-plugins-bad).

http://radionetwork-iheart-ice.streamguys1.com/hkihr.aac - put into a m3u file.

[Update 2.1.1.23] Hey cool new feature: totally crash of MediaPlayer or e. g. AllRadio when selecting the stream.

hm, I tried to demonstrate the problem to some colleges and now it works. Seems that all my problems of the last two days were weather related.

But it is a nice device anyways. And a Jolla says my Prime (WLAN Vendor MAC part is Jolla - I expected INTEX because this is only a limited edition of the Aquafish).

Today I had the AAC-problem again with the same stream. So it is not reproducible everytime.

AAC works with OS release 3.3.0.

Yep, seems to work, stream is still bitty on my Jolla1 and takes a while to settle, but eventually it smooths out. The problem is similar to the way frames are dropped in a video but in this case with audio of course. This problem occurs in only in Jolla Mediaplayer but is okay when streamed via Sailfish Browser.

AAC does not work with OS release 3.3.0. (SailfishX, Xperia X) with remote (web) audio.

Three possible behaviours (random): (1) Plays at half speed (2) Crashes the player (3) Exceptionally, the audio is played correctly.
