When I try to add my Dropbox account on my Jolla1 from Settings/Accounts, the waiting spinner just keeps rolling, at one point this morning, I left it for 2 hours and yet still it did not let me sign in.

At the hint of a suggestion in the comments, I opened the gallery, picked a random picture and selected 'Add account', selected Dropbox, consented, input my email/password and bang!, account created!, why can the account not be created via Settings/Accounts directly?, I've never encountered this problem before.

At the moment, I do not have a data plan and am relying solely on wifi connection.

Regards, Edz

Had the same with Dropbox and Google accounts, both on Jolla 1 and Jolla C. Changing to airplane mode and reactivating the network helped in both cases.

Nope, didn't help in my case. Same message as before.

Nobody else had this problem than Hweesselmann and I?

Same issue with Jolla 1 running 2.0.1.11. It doesn't work with wifi or with mobile data network from the parameter page. But I had a workaround: by selecting a photo in the gallery and click share then it is possible to create the Dropbox account. So strange.

It is not an answer to the question directly but it may be useful for those who have a similar first time sing in problem in the future. If you get "Sorry, your code may have expired. Please log in again." error, make sure that your timezone and localization settings are correct. If you live in a strange country like Turkey, this is the most likely cause of the problem.

By turning off wifi on phone I was able to add dropbox account. Case closed for my part.
