The latest patch notes here: https://blog.jolla.com/early-access-sailfish-os-2-0-2-aurajoki/ Say that Media controls are hidden if no music is played for 30 minutes. This is not true.

PRECONDITIONS:

Some songs on your device.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

  1. Open Media app
  2. Play some music
  3. Pause
  4. Lock the device
  5. Wait for 30 minutes

EXPECTED RESULT:

Media controls should disappear from the lock screen.

ACTUAL RESULT:

Media controls do not disappear from the lock screen.

I wish it was as you describe it as a bug, but sadly my media control buttons disappears from the lockscreen after a while and it's a pain in the ass as I need to unlock the Jolla phone (I use it only as media player nowadays).

@Trizt It should only disappear when no music is played for a while. But it never disappears for me... which is annoying because it can (and will) start playing music in my pocket anytime, embarassing me.
