Jolla C/Aquafish teardown images?

Does anyone tried to open Jolla C or Aqua Fish? I tried to open mine, but unlike Jolla, there is a sticker on one of the screw (down right corner). I stopped at this point because of possible warranty issue. I am asking this for not only for my curiosity, but also all the myths about supported LTE bands.

If you see the service manual of Nexus 5 D820/D821, part of RF components on hardware side is different, although the mainboard layout itself is the same. If RF hardware of Jolla C and Aqua Fish is really different, then the answer of this question is simply "not possible", period. If it is not, then hacking with modem firmware can make something.

I'm planning on opening my Aqua Fish, since it is basically a spare for my Jolla C but haven't gotten around to it yet. What I can tell so far is that the antennas are different (different part no. and trace shapes).

I'm not even sure there's a warranty for the Jolla C, since technically they didn't sell you the phone, but a developer package coming with a free phone.

Do I see a "NFC" label there (the red marking in second picture, and close up in third)? Wonder what that could be!

At this moment, I am trying to get my Jolla C apart for an issue I have with a possible short circuit in the screen (ghost touch, touch sometimes not working properly). Because there is no official warranty and the price was pretty low, I am just risking it. Getting most of the stuff out is easy, but the bottom circuit board is connected underneath the IMEI-sticker and I can't seem to get the screen out.

Ghost touch and unresponsiveness is a bug iirc, not a hardware issue. (I happen to have both from time to time, especially the outside of screen touch recognition fails very often, tap-touches when actually moving the finger and so on)

Because I have little time these weeks, I did not take pictures (did not have a camera at hand). I will take it apart partially again in a week or 2 and will take pictures then.

@chemist: With mine that was partially true. Sometimes when having this kind of problem, I could fix it with bending the phone a little bit. When openend, I could see stuff on/in the flex cable that should not have been there (at the height of the contacts). I removed it, put some transparent sticky tape on it and now it seems to occur less of the time, and it can't be solved by bending anymore.

I have found an another interesting fact: My Aqua Fish's motherboard has a silkscreen label L510MB_V0.2.

All antenna vinyls on the chassis and the molded parts has a L500D_L510_LA1.0{-G,-LTE,-GPS/WIFI/BT}, however the back plastic cover (which is clearly Intex specific because of the Intex text) has L500D-P1.

Maybe L500 and L510 are codenumbers of the different models (Aqua Fish/Jolla C)?

James officially denied that the Jolla C is equipped twith NFC, however my Aqua Fish looks like to have an NFC antenna and a PCA544 is visible on the I2C buses.

Notice how the board itself is marked as "L510MB_V0.2", so it could be possible that the codes specify the different models (Jolla C being L500 and Aqua Fish L510). Regarding the NFC capability it's hard to tell if it's possible without seeing if there is actually the correct chip (or even one at all) on the board (should be under one of the most bottom left covers on the last picture, if they can be removed). Or of course someone with enough experience in NFC (which I don't have) could simply test it out.

I have the necessary equipment and knowledge to remove those metal shields, but I would not like to perform this on my primary phone. We could still peak on the I2C from the device side to see if the PCA544 is working or not. Anyway I also find it pretty interesting. It would be also great to see the internals of a Jolla C.
