i got the intex aqua fish, and i am a noob. but i look into Airtel (network provider) app and it says so many messages being sent to Intex centre!! :( help me. i researched on google and found this is "activation" sms. then why is it happening everyday! as i said, i am noob, so dont expect me to do some terminal commands everyday. i want a solution, which done once, and i dont have to do anything again. i also want updates to work.

Sailfish OS 2.0.2.51 is available as update for Intex Aqua Fish. It includes fixes for activation SMS.

why would you remove bug tag? this is clearly a bug / error on side of Jolla and Intex, with an activation sms being sent every day! and, the thread you provided me with, has codes that need to be done every time after an update installs! i want something permanent!!!

!t's not a bug, it's a feature ordered by Intex. Please read the answer given by @veskuh in the thread provided.

About the code, that's the best we got for now.

There is a mention about the activation sms in the changelog for aurajoki. Maybe it will rectify the same

@eson - FYI - It is a bug. The feature requested by Intex is for the activation SMS to be sent once. The bug here is that the activation SMS is sent many times. Rather than removing the bug tag, it would be more appropriate to tag this as a duplicate.
