Mobile Data Wil Not Enable After Provider Change

I currently have a Jolla 1 and Jolla C, and this is only occurring in the Jolla 1. Both are currently at version 2.0.2.51

I recently changed mobile provider from EE to 3, in the UK. While I was waiting for my number to port over, i had my EE SIM in the Jolla 1 and the 3 SIM in the Jolla C. When the number ported, I removed the EE SIM, and moved the 3 SIM Over from the Jolla C. The next day (or day after - I hadn't needed to enable it before), I realised that the Jolla one was not showing a signal type (eg 3G, 4G, etc. - the bars are showing), and I cannot enable the mobile data - pressing the "Internet" button under mobile network highlights, but doesn't change value . At the time, it was on 2.0.2.48 and I wondered if it was the frequency issue, so I updated - but that has not solved it.

I put the SIM back in the Jolla C and the signal type does appear, and mobile internet enables with no issues.

I put the SIM back in the Jolla 1, and used the similar issues from this site to try and get it working again. I have checked the APN settings under Mobile Data and they all look correct (and are the same as in the Jolla C). I checked files under /var/lib/ofono and they look okay.

Is there some other setting or values somewhere that I can check? Or other way to debug?

Okay, sorry for the noise - but this may help someone who ends up in a similar situation.

After posting this, I had another five minutes, so I ssh'd back in and re-checked everything. This time round I noticed that the /var/lib/ofno/ril file had the default setting pointing at the wrong directory, and not the current 3 one. I missed this the first time round, as the first load of digits is the same.

I Stopped ofono, changedthe file to point to the correct directlry and restarted ofono. A few seconds later and I had the 4G symbol back and was able to connect.

I ran into same/similar bug when testing different SIMs with Jolla1 running Aurajoki. The phone was ok but no internet connectivity. Reboot, airplane mode or Settings didn't help. /var/lib/ofno/ril contained IMSI of a SIM I was using earlier. Finally, I noticed that selecting connect to Internet ("Yhdistä internetiin" in Finnish) via Events view fixes the situation.

Didn't think to try that one. Thanks.
