After the Aurajoki update the Documents app does not work as before. It still opens .doc and .pdf's but the app only shows the first page. Scrolling and zooming is not working... I cannot open a file listing... Re-installing the app did not help. Suggestions for a solution? Is it a bug?

Well, i had a hunch; rebuilding the app registry in developer mode helped. Documents app works as it is to be expected.

Rebuilding the app registry as in?

I've already reported this kind of behavior here: https://together.jolla.com/question/33898/bug-documents-app-does-not-show-all-documents/?sort=votes&page=1#144629

And.. I confirm that Documents app doesn't show all type of files.

Rebuilding app registry, IMHO, is not user-friendly.. Only devs.. Is there any chance to have a fixed version inside Jolla Store?

Tracker is still causing problems. I have loaded a bunch of test files, all with different names and some of them show in Documents app. So, I opened up PC Suite mode and edited the names of the files, so they all are now titled SAMPLE. Reopening Documents application, I can see the name change has NOT taken.

So, I restarted Tracker from within Sailfish Utilities and now ALL documents I've added/renamed, are now showing correctly and ALL documents open and are readable as expected.

This seems to be a constant problem with tracker in my opinion, as it seems like it is asleep on the job most of the time, unless it is nudged and told to get to work!

@Markkyboy Restarting the tracker/updating the db of media files DOES NOT solve the problem: the Documents app still shows ONLY PDF files.

It seems that the app filters documents' type.
