Is there a remote terminal for linux access to the sailfish OS that i can run on Apple MacOX Sierra that allows execution of sudo commands.
Remoting into Jolla via WIFI sftp SSH protocol or other. I am not wanting to remote in through USB.

Not sure if I understood your question well, but @misc11 answer gives you direct root access which isn't default for security reasons. A safer solution would be this:

thats fantastic its always hard for me to believe how easy it is in the end. Thanks caprico using the terminal in OSX is just way more convenient and faster then having to type on the phone itself.
