As per the request of @chemist, I am rephrasing the post while keeping the OP at the end.
I am experiencing a major inconvenience when trying to edit images (on JP1) in the Gallery application. When trying to edit a photo taken with the device's own main camera, as soon as the edit function activates and tries to load the image, the app crashes (fades back to the Taks Switcher). This happens mostly when 8MP images are the subjects. Switching the camera to take 6MP photos and editing those mostly works. Lower MP images or downloaded pictures work just fine.

EDIT: This issue is still valid with 2.0.4.14 EA.

After installing the latest upgrade I noticed that the Gallery app crashes immediately after trying to edit a picture. Sometimes I am able to see the new functions, but mostly not.
Anyone else?

EDIT II.: Smaller images are fine. Photos taken by Jolla get killed...
Well I tried to reproduce (after installing latest update on my Jolla C) but it all works fine for me. Just edited and saved a photo without problems.
