After unsuccesful email deliver, 2 of 2 attempts to remove email from unsent mail did result UI hang and eventully device rebooted by itself. I had to remove and add email account back to get email working again and to stop reboots.

Very few, if any, email services allow attachments as big as 100 MB. Gmail for example, allow attachments up to 25 MB.

Yeah, looks like you're using the wrong tool here.

In my perspective an UI hang and a reboot is an unacceptable behaviour under any conditions regardless if the user uses the right tool to the task or not.

It is better to upload big attachments to a cloud service, and then email a link to the item in the cloud.

I agree, for an email client to handle such large attachments would be uneconomical and a bit crazy! There are better transfer methods available.
