Hello@all

I have Bluetooth problem with the Turing Phone. I can turn it on / off normally. I can also use a BT headset. Before rewinding, stop and pause works very well. Unfortunately, i can not receive or send files. "Upload is unfortunately failed" I get as a message. It is possible to fix that problem or do i need jolla for it?

Here a log: http://pastebin.com/Etn8Msxi

OS version: 2.0.4.14

OS version: 2.0.5.6 (via terminal installed)

OS version: 2.1.0.9 (via terminal installed)

all have the same problem.

Edit: I tried several things.

  • Unpaired, paired, send to different devices.

  • Factory reset via recovery menu

Did you pair the devices first?

The turing phone is missing most of the core bluetooth functionality such as file transfer etc. It only currently supports the headset profile. For example rockpool doesn't work for the pebble where it does work on the Jolla C etc.

Is it something Jolla can fix or integrate?

The question is: Why is it missing? :D

Is there also something else which is missing on Turing/ Intex Aqua fish (beside the commercial parts)?

I think it's just because it is different hardware, no idea if the actual software side is missing or if it just doesn't work.

Anyway lets face it as Turing are no longer releasing the phone (or the snapdragon 820 model) there's not much point trying to resolve this. There are only 100 turing phones out in the wild with sailfish and it looks like it will stay this way indefinitely, so I doubt Jolla will spend any time working on it.
