Hello,

recently my Jolla C behaves strange -- If wired headphones are connected device itself still play sound through bottom speaker, although with much lower volume.

I tried various headphones to eliminate possible problem(s) with them and it seems it's indeed problem with device.

Anyone else experiencing such issue? Any advice/solution?

I have the same problem. I got it with the latest system upgrade.

@rgrnetalk -- I just smiled when I read your suggestion, but tried (why not, after all :)

To my surprise it's working -- booting device with headphones and than unplugging/plugging doesn't cause device to play through speaker. Thanks!

Is that known bug? Anything to report?

@roham -- I suspect this too, although I can't point to specific update as it's been quite some time since I used headphones.

I have had this situation a long time ago... I think it has to do with closing the music app with headphone plugged in, but I could not really reproduce the situation.

@sponka not just Jolla C the Intex Aquafish phone does the same, a buzzing sound prior to playing music over headphones, a clicking sound on speakers, other ransom occasional sounds through ear speaker.

you could try to plug head phone in, then restart the device. When the phone restarts: unplug headphone... (wild guess...;)

This works on the aquafish too. Thanks. Is there a way to raise this with the developers for a bug fix?

Same for me on Intex Aqua Fish when I tried to connect Intex to my car via cable (AUX). Speaker was still running.

I wonder if I can use some CLI command for this. Should be some setup of pulseaudio right?

What seems to work, too, is to unplug and replug the headphones while playing music. Anyway, it's sad to hear no word from Jolla Oy.

This bug happened to me today (to people who commuted with me and had to listen to world's end girlfriend really loud, I'm sorry), bumping up. I wanted to attach logs, but I rebooted my phone BEFORE I thought about that. I realized that something was wrong after trying to make a call, I couldn't hear anything through headphones during the call.
