2.1.0.10 CalDAV calendar duplication
Upgraded to 2.1.0.10, unfortunately the CalDAV bug where the calendar becomes duplicated still exists. Deleted the account twice today, first time there were 3 duplicates of each calendar. Synching with ownCloud 9.0.8 stable on my home server. Strangely it hasn't happened on my tablet yet, only the phone (Jp-1301).
Can't figure out any pattern to the duplication happening.
On the plus side it's really easy to setup CalDAV and CardDAV accounts.
Still loving the OS though :-) and thanks to Chris Adams for great work on calendar....
Which database-type do you use? I solved my similar problem by switching from sqlite to MySQL, don't know if this is really the point.

ricardo ( 2017-03-25 09:20:27 +0200 )edit@Jolkas: Why shoould server side database influence this behaviour? CalDAV is a network protocol, which does not use a direct database connection.
SaimenSays ( 2017-03-26 18:26:24 +0200 )editWhat do you mean by duplication, i.e. which calendar are you try to sync from the local device, with the server calender and what do you expect to get in the end?
pmelas ( 2017-04-03 13:28:20 +0200 )edit@SaimenSays: I can't explain it, I just shared my experience. Who can say exactly where the problem is regarding such a multi-step process like synching calendars? In my case switching the database on the server solved many problems ...
