Dropbox account ... may not work in future - message [released]
Set up a Dropbox account on my J-C for the first time today - 29th June 2017. Got this warning from Dropbox:
The old version of the Dropbox platform is being retired on 28th June 2017. The developer of this app has yet to acknowledge the change, so this app may not work in future.
Well, it seems to work - I took a backup. But maybe this 'old version' hasn't been retired. Either way perhaps someone needs to do something to prevent that message appearing.
update 10_8_17 I got an email from Dropbox
Hi David,On September 28, 2017, we’ll be making some changes to Dropbox that will likely affect the following 3rd party apps linked to your Dropbox account: Sailfish OS, Mozilla Thunderbird. You’re receiving this email because you’ve used these apps at least once within the past month.
While we’ve informed all developers about our upcoming changes, the developers for the apps listed above have yet to update their apps accordingly. If they don’t update their apps before September 28, these apps will no longer be able to access Dropbox. That said, any data already saved in Dropbox won’t be affected and will still be accessible from our official web, mobile, and desktop clients.
As a recent user of these apps...
(Thunderbird app is FileLink: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1389391)
I have also received the email.

Well, at least data is retrievable via Dropbox's website.
As dropbox is offered to me as a place for system backups by SailfishOS, I would hope that Jolla will make necessary changes in time.
