people app does not save modifications

bump for 3.2.1: Issues 3 - 4 occur for contacts from a CardDAV account (Sailfish X, Xperia X)
1) it is possible to add to favorites, but not remove (that is already known)
2) modifying an existing address will result in two addresses, old and new
3) delete existing address does not save the changes. address will remain.
4) delete existing phone number also does not persist, phone number will remain
first i thought i can t dit sim contacts, but i do NOT have enabled the show-sim-contacts option.
i am using intex aqua converted to C
in order to update the address, i had to share the contact, delete the contact, modify vcf file and open / import it
I tested all those 4 cases above with Jolla C running 2.1.1.24, and all of them worked correctly. I could not reproduce the issues you @pawel have.
jovirkku ( 2017-08-10 09:33:14 +0200 )editIt may be that the contacts database of your phone is corrupted. Are your contacts local or synchronized, i.e. do you have them in your phone only or also in some cloud service (google, exchange,...)?
only on my phone, no sync

jpelfrene ( 2017-08-11 15:18:36 +0200 )editI had a similar problem. It turned out that it was because the contact was linked to an XMPP account. Unfortunately I don't recall how I solved it - only that it took a heck of time finding out, what caused the problem.
