Mobile data and MMS settings not getting saved [answered]

Hi there,

I haven't found any other topics with this problem, but it seems strange that I should be the only one. I am unable to use MMS at all and mobile data reliably. If I change the settings (enable roaming, edit proxy settings etc.) they are reverted back when I restart the phone.

If I enable mobile data the light next to "internet" in the mobiledata settings will flicker and the status will alternate quickly between "active" and "connecting" (I'm guessing at the english words. My phone is set to norwegian). I can chose to manually select the network. That usually gives me two or three options, all named the same. Some of them work some of the time. Some of them don't work.

Does anyone have any ideas? Anything is greatly appreciated as this is very annoying, and I problem when taking public transport as my monthly ticket is digital and the app uses mobile data to check the ticket every now and again.

I thought this was only for the "prefer 4G" setting. Is this for all the settings regarding mobile internet and MMS?

@NevilClavain Yes, it's for all settings regarding Data/MMS. None of the stuff sticks because the ofono dir isn't writable in the stock state.
