After update to Sailfish 2.1.2.3 the calendar does not start anymore. In the app list it's also not highlighted like other installed apps. In the Jolla Store it's labeled as installed. It looks like it was not correctly installed/updated. Tried to de-imstall and install it again, but no success. Any idea what I can do?

In a terminal, try killall jolla-calendar. Then relaunch it from icon. Sometimes, I've noticed that the calendar get stuck in background but I failed to find the root cause up to now...

Same problem here. In my case the strange thing was, that I had somehow an version with a higher number than 2.1.2.3 installed. (can't say anymore which one) Shortly after that, the phone told me that there is an update available. 2.1.2.3. I installed it yesterday and since then the calendar does not start anymore.

Unapply all patches and check if you have any file im /usr/share/jolla-calendar and remove them amd then reinstall calendar app.

I've experienced the same issue and removing /usr/share/jolla-callendar/pages/ChooseDate.qml file fixed it

Thank you for your suggestion. But there was no such file "ChooseDat.qml". I have "downgraded" now to Version 2.1.1.26 and now the calendar is starting. For downgrading I used this info: link text

and the version information can be found here: link text

Tried all proposed solutions, also the one from the Jolla Store site for the calendar stating to use the following command:

pkcon install sailfish-components-calendar-qt

Reply from the command:

Command failed: This tool could not find any available package: could not find sailfish-components-calendar-qt

So no success in the moment. Maybe I also have to downgrade.

The correct package name is sailfish-components-calendar-qt5

Worked for me.
