If you're interested, you can make this happen through the magic of open source.
The first step would be to package libpurple and telepathy-haze for Nemo. Freenode's #nemomobile IRC channel can help you figure out the details (you'll find me there as special) - you'd need to select the right versions, create rpm .spec files for them and any other new dependencies, get them building locally, then come to me to get the git repositories at https://github.com/nemomobile-packages and the right git packaging set up. Once the packages are in Nemo, they'll end up available in Sailfish releases automatically.
After that, you should be able to create a working account by manually installing telepathy-haze and creating the telepathy accounts via mc-tool. The next step would be to integrate it with the accounts framework and account settings, but that's a more complex topic I can address when it's needed.
+1,000,000!!! :) If implementation is anything like N900 & N9 that would be bleeding brilliant! :)
