After the Indiegogo campaign, there has been no noise about it - did they finally ship the product? Is it still available for purchase?

https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/youyota-sailfish-os-2-in-1-tablet/#/updates/all

They had some problems with the tablets because they wanted only 1000 built, but that was not possible and they had to up it to 3000. The last update was a month ago and they told that all parts will be in the factory by end of November and assembly will be done after that. Apparently the devices shall be shipped before christmas, so there's a bit of hope.

Personally I'd be happy if I get it all, but after all the setbacks before christmas doesn't seem viable to me, but I remain hopefull.

You can still order them via in Demand on indiegogo.

We are still waiting for the delivery of the PCBA and Intel SoC. Although we have ordered 3K units in total, as the minimum quantity for any production, but our order is the lowest in supplier’s priority, and the PCB factory. As this season is the busiest in a year, all the factories are doing big orders (some in million) for major brands, and our small order often been delayed in favour of their big orders, especially the PCB manufacturing. On the other hand, Intel also is being slow on supplying this (relatively old) SoC due to quantity. We have been work with the supplier and factory to make it as quick as we can. From our latest conversation with them earlier this week, the PCBA factory aims to deliver the plain boards around 25th November. And SoC about the same time. The board will be populated before 30th and we aim to show the prototype on early December

Thanks for being transparent. A breeze of fresh air in here.

The above was a quote from the indiegogo page. ...but yes, the transparency is indeed refreshing.

Sometime "soon"(TM) in 2018, hopefully one might hold the real piece in his hands.

Seems to me that Youyota campaign is dead. Latest update was 2 months ago. 21 days ago one short comment with an empty promise.

I think you can consider the project dead as one person seems to have ran away with the money: http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?p=1545427#post1545427

Damn, The Jolla tablet seems cursed (but I guess I am lucky - the payment for the first tablet didn't go through as my card was declined, and I decided to wait to see the YouYota tablet first before paying for it). Any idea what happened with the money - is the YouYota team refunding it?

Judging from this thread

http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=99214&highlight=youyota&page=136

it's dead. Maybe it was scam from the very start, maybe it wasn't, but it's unlikely you'll ever hold it in your hands.
