Signal (android) doesn't show contacts, standalone Windows app does?
The signal app from Android doesn't show any contacts, so I can't start a chat, unless they send me a message first. Really strange is, that when I use the standalone desktop client within windows, contacts are recognized ... I really don't understand why, but it's annoying I don't see my contacts on the phone. Settings have been set to share contacts with Android, but this doesn't work for Signal (although it works for Whatsapp).
I'm (still) using the Jolla "1" phone.

RobNas ( 2018-01-31 14:53:19 +0200 )editI also have this problem. The weird thing is that it DID find one contact as soon as he joined Signal (later than me)...
thisisme ( 2018-01-31 16:57:55 +0200 )editSame here. Sometimes he can access the Profile picture from my contacts but not the names.
