I was commenting a post on facebook through the web interface. Suddenly the phone froze completely. I can't even power it down.

How do I shut down the phone? Pressing the power button does nothing.

Searched the internet for a solution and found one at iFixit.com:

Try holding the power button and volume up button at the same time, until the phone gives a short vibration. Then it will turn off, and you should be able to start it again as normal.

My Sailfish X is up and running again.

I'll try a simulated battery pull-out first next time. (Power button and volume down).

I am happy you were able to fix it! I bet someone else is going to need this too...

Is there a key combination for restarting the hardware?
