I have purchased Sailfish X and a Xperia X (5121). But i am unable to install aliendalvik from the store. It also seems like aliendalvik disappears from time to time?!

Are there any others here with that problem and/or some kind of known solution?! (i do need the Android support from time to time).

You write that you can’t install alien falcon from store, but you also write that alien falcon disappears from time to time. Did you manage to install it at some point? And perhaps you tried to install playstore ? Then, it may be that you messed up while doing so.

The pre-requisite for seeing Android Support among the apps in Jolla Store is that one has signed in with the same Jolla account used for purchasing Sailfish X license. This was probably not the issue in this case, though.

After installing Android Support there is nothing visible about it in the application launcher grid. Android Support is a run-time environment, not an app. One can check the existence of Android Support by visiting item "My Apps" in the pulley menu of Jolla Store. It is possible to uninstall it there, should there be problems with it.

The next step after installing Android Support is to install some Android stores, e.g. Aptoide. They have a choice of Android apps.

Maybe this was a silly answer but i wanted to make sure that the basics are right, at least.

This was it... And quite silly by me to create a new account on the phone... :) ...

Thank you for the advise(s)...
