Jolla 1 - update was automatically displayed and could be successfully installed.

Jolla tablet - update was automatically displayed and could be successfully installed.

Only the jolla c does not show the update. even after several manual queries, the version 2.1.3.7 will be displayed as current.

Does anyone have the same problem or a solution?

Same "problem"... However: I don't consider it in that way ;)

Solution: Patience ;) ... It will come...

I had the same problem and I forced the update in CLI.

@JollaC, I have early access and got notifications normally for both updates 2.1.4.13 and 2.1.4.14

I think the problem seems to be an updating from version 2.1.3.7 -> 2.1.4.14 for "normal" users and not for the early access subscribers, which had 2.1.3.7 -> 2.1.4.13 -> 2.1.4.14

Checked the availability of 2.1.4 for Jolla C devices once more, due to this post. Yes, it works ok. Jolla C with 2.1.3.7, signed in to a Jolla account, gets the update notification at Settings > Sailfish OS updates.

If not, then there must be something wrong in your device settings. Try the following:

devel-su
### type your SSH password here
pkill store-client
rm -rf /home/nemo/.cache/store-client/os-info
rm -rf /home/.pk-zypp-dist-upgrade-cache/*
reboot

Next:
- make sure you have signed in to your Jolla account at Settings > Accounts > Jolla
- try to install an app from Jolla Store - if it works then your account is good.
- go to Settings > Sailfish OS update and pull down "Check for updates".

Works now?

Tried cache cleanup as suggested. Jolla account was and is sttill signed in (also signed off/in again) There is also no problem to install apps from Jolla store.

However: Still no update. I can't imagine that something is wrong with the account ;)

Still doesn't work... Same troubles was with 2.1.0 Iijoki :(

Iijoki theme with similar bug: https://together.jolla.com/question/173754/bugcannot-find-the-newest-update-and-after-using-developer-mode-system-updates-suggests-past-os-version/

update: updated successfully via "ssu re 2.1.4.14 && version --dup" - so far so good. No wrong notifications like "System update 2.1.3 available" etc...

@jovirkku - thanks - I tried your suggestion, but it did not solve the problem. like @vision said: my jolla account is also signed in and i can download and install apps from the jolla store. but again no update after all...

Same problem for me. The workaround mentioned above doesn't change anything. I'm still on 2.1.3.7 on my Jolla C with no update notification.

Update 2.1.4.14 is now available for all Jolla accounts on Jolla C devices. There was a mistake in our roll out settings such that 2.1.4.14 was available for early access and cbeta subscribers only. Sorry for the unnecessary delay.

i did update my C via devel -su + ssu re 2.1.4.14 version --dup and it worked fine. However, since, I see a message System update available on my screen and I can't do that away. However Google sync ceased to work. Also, update via settings does not seem to work, it hangs with a waiting for connection message.

I did have that same problem. Tried to remove notification.db with Terminal and it did go away for a second but came back. So I went back to previous version 2.1.4.13 and updated after that with system update in Settings. That made everything work for me.

Update 2.1.4.14 for Jolla C is available now ;) Seems that some magic fingers on Jolla side did the trick ;)

Ok now I have the update.

Just did a version --dup then it downloaded and updated a package. After reboot, I could get the update notification.
