Hello, I have old Nokia 206 with software platform Series 40 with a lot of contacts and calendar events in it. Is it possible to transfer them to SailfishX? I have successfully opened contacts on PC in Nokia PC Suite program and exported them to CSV file (only option). Regarding calendar events, there are two options of export, CSV or VCS files. Now I have these files, checked them in text editor, looks quite usefull. Please can anyone help how to import them to SailfishX People app and Calendar app? Thank you very much. I'm new user joined the sailors a month ago.

Hi.

From what I see in the People App in my Experia, there's a wizard that may let you import them directly from the files you already have.

These are the steps I followed:

Settings App --> Scroll Down to "Apps" --> Select "People" --> Either select "Start Import Wizard" or "From Contact File"

I guess the option "From contacts file" should work straight forward.....

Regards.

i guess an easy Solution could be, to try to import you CVS (could be a generic Comma Seperated Values or the old Outlook Coma Seperated Values) into a Service (e.g. Google or WebDAV (e.g. as provided by your Mail Service or a Next/Owncloud)) and add that account to your SFOS Device.

My Thunderbird (/w Lighning and CardBook AddOn) gives me the Opportunity to Load *.cvs and *.vcs files. Maybe you could use that to export your files to a different service?
