I agree, here and there you can access options by long tapping an object but there isn't any hint that helps understanding when you can long tap something. It's definitively one of the less intuitive aspect of the UI.
Maybe just underlining with dots the tappable object could be a first way to give a hint to the user.

eg: Did you know that if you go to System Settings-> Mobile Network and then press and hold the 'Internet'[1] toggle ... you get hidden settings? [1] or whatever your ISP calls their data connection
