Shorter battery life on Sony Xperia X since the last update [answered]
Hi everyone, I am very happy with my Xperia X running Saifish OS X. But since the last update (2.2.0.29), the battery life is quite bad. Before the update, I could put my phone in plane mode and without GPS during 8 hours. The battery level was around 75% and after 8hours, it was still around 75% (perhaps 72 or 73% but never under it). Since the update, in the same conditions, when I take my phone after 8 hours, the battery level is around 30%, even 25%. All applications have been closed before shutting all the communications down. But there's perhaps something running in background. Any idea ? Have someone experienced the same thing ?
Thxs for your answers.

I find the opposite: after the update the battery life is much better for me. However, I have an F5122 and I did a reflash rather than a true update, which may have a bearing on this.

SaimenSays ( 2018-06-19 18:03:33 +0200 )editI experience that battery drain is a little worse but a restart fixes the bad drains for me. I am not sure what triggers it but navigation and running android apps is biggest suspects, something is left active. Before update I could easy run for a day and have over 50% left now im more often ends below. I do not use flightmode.
