I imported contacts from n900 and it turns out that I can't edit these contacts, edit or delete a number that is already in a contact card! I also want to mention that added as favorite contacts in People are not shown with the photos from social networks (I mean thumbnails) on top of the app. In contact card everything is ok with the photo

I haven't faced this issue for quite a while. Has it got solved with some of the updates?

have you imported via bluetooth? After I had done it the first time I experienced the same as you, then I imported them once again and only after that I can edit them normally

Err, any ideas how to do this now, 1½ years after the import? I don't have the original phone nor the imported file anymore.

It works for me (SailfishOS 1.0.2.5). You know that you have to use the pulley menu, right? Simply pull the menu down until you select edit.

:)))) go to "edit" menu and then what ? can`t change the number of IMPORTED contacts, just the names and add some fields..

All my Contacts came from MS Exachange sync, so I can't help you with that, sorry.

Omg i just did a successful test: Jolla find the files it self and add the contact cards automatically but there is one or two contacts that I inserted manually by taping on the "import" button in the menu..these are editable. Now i need someone to tell me how to export from n900 to a single file TY

I guess if you import (or rather read) contact data from a social site (like your friend's phone nr from fb), it's logical that you as 3rd person can't edit that. On the contrary to data where you have editing rights. Does this answer your question?
