How to get rid of com.amazon.venezia?

I don't want to delete the Amazon store completely, but the one and only app bought there so far starts the com.amazon.venezia background process whenever the app itself is starting. Useless waste of ressources.

Luckily I can kill it in Settings/Apps menu but want to do that more automatically, respectively want to prevent it from starting unintended.

Some Ideas?

Is it an Android app? If so, how about firewalling that process via AF-Wall+ (another Android app)?
