Hello,

I bought a Sony Xperiax Dual sim about one month ago, and I've been facing an issue with networking that is driving me nuts. Now and then (~daily), Internet connectivity stops and I cannot restore it. When I navigate to the WLAN settings, it tells me "Networking is not available, please restart device". When I power the device off, then the only way I can power it on again is by holding the volume up and power button, normal power button does not work.

One more interesting observation, the battery drains quickly as soon as this issue kicks in. So something is happening in the background, but what...

I searched and found this old issue that looks similar: https://together.jolla.com/question/52439/networking-not-available/ but the solution described there does not help.

So question: is anyone else facing this issue? Any idea what I can do to troubleshoot it and point out the actual bug for the dev team?

EDIT: using Mouhijoki

EDIT 2: this previous issue I have submitted is related (and not solved since it popped up again after some time)

Hello,

After some testing I figured out that the issue was related to my second SIM card. It was a micro SIM cut down to nano size, and it worked fine but at some point a SIM connection issue popped up and I had all these problems...

I used sandpaper to shrink the card to actual nano thickness and since then, no problem. So although my issue is fixed, I believe there is a stability problem when SIM card is removed or has bad connection...

So feel free to mark this question as answered. I'm not sure whether or not the actual issue is mentioned somewhere else yet.
