Packages won't install
Hi everyone,
Since the update to Sailfish 3.0.0.8 I can't install or update any packages anymore. The Jolla Store crashes before even opening and attempting to update any application via openrepos (Storeman) or doing pkcon update
results in the error message "Fatal error: Installation aborted by user".
Things I tried
- version --dup -> Stuck on refreshing at 0%
- pkcon refresh && pkcon update -> "Fatal error: Installation aborted by user"
- Disabling all the openrepos repos and doing the above again -> same result
Additional notes
- I updated to 3.0.0.8 after going through the early access of Sailfish 3. I upgraded via the
version --dup
method, because the normal method failed. ssu status

I don't have patchmanager installed or had it in the past (I tried it, but it didn't install for me)

After upgrading to 3.0.0.8 I needed to re-enable outside sources, both in settings & android dalvik. Have you checked to make sure it's enabled in both locations?
rfa ( 2018-12-05 13:01:10 +0200 )editOutside sources were already enabled. Disabling and enabling them again did not help.

It's too late now. I did a factory reset and now everything works. I tried
ahappyhuman ( 2018-12-17 01:28:19 +0200 )editpkcon -v refresh
, but that didn't output anything that was useful as far as I can remember.
