Wrong statements concerning SD card within camera app settings [duplicate]
Hello fellow SFOS users,
I would like to store pictures taken by the camera app on SD card, which is installed and working correctly. But after opening the settings of the camera app, the dialog falsely states, that there is no SD card present. Nevertheless I have the choice between two possibilities concerning the storage: Internal storage or SD card. Selecting one or the other of these two options works as expected - the camera app stores the pictures accordingly. But after closing and reopening the settings dialog, I see the same wrong statement again.
I ask myself, if this is a problem of the German localized GUI I use or if it is more general problem. I am using SailfishOS X 3.0.1.11 on Xperia X in combination with a SDXC card from SanDisk with a capacity of 200 GB. You find screenshots of what I see down below.
Does anyone have the same problem (maybe in other localisations)?
Greetings,
rebos
- Apparently no SD card present
- Nevertheless SD card is selectable
- Setting done
- Same wrong statement after reopening camera app settings
Bei mir auch/Same here.

rgrnetalk ( 2019-02-02 21:54:26 +0200 )editIt does the same for me on Xperia X and XA2. Noting to do with SD card as mine are 64Gb. However, I notice that when I take a picture, it says briefly that the picture will be save on the SD card. And both, photo and video are saved on the SD card. It does have an impact as when you want to do a back up, it says no SD card. When I go make sure the camera setting save on SD card then go back to back up, I can make a back up on the SD card. Definitely something there.
